Lace and Printed Pantyhose. Lace Pantyhose were originally designed in 1964 by Fonssagrives-Tiel for the film “What’s New Pussycat” worn by Paula Prentiss. Fonssagrives-Tiel also designed the first Printed Pantyhose, which were featured in the February 1965 issue of Life Magazine (photo on left).
