TAKE A PAPER AND PEN AND AN ENVELOPE AND WRITE DOWN BY HAND WHAT YOU’VE LEARNED IN THE LOCKDOWN AND PUT IT IN A SPECIAL PLACE AND SAVE IT. ADD TO IT AS YOU LEARN MORE. REINVENT YOURSELF, FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS.

I try to live in the moment and find happiness in WHATEVER LIFE BRINGS ME. I am a child of the sixties, EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR THE BEST. This pandemic was a real challenge for me, no children, grandchildren, no husband ( he’s lockdown in another home where I work on HSN TV with our cats), no fittings of gowns on beautiful society ladies and no work at all since filming for HSN would be Skyped.

What to Do ? It didn’t take long, ( I have major life decisions in my bubble baths) and I came up with the answer, REINVENT MYSELF. Of course! I ALWAYS ASK MYSELF WHAT WOULD COCO CHANEL DO? WHAT WOULD ELIZABETH TAYLOR DO?

I BECAME A SCULPTOR AND A BLOGGER. I grew my hair long, went grey halfway, and decided to dress in my blog TO HELP WOMEN HAVE A NEW LOOK WITHOUT SPENDING ANY MONEY and photograph myself in 50 outfits from my closet and my mother’s closet and thrift clothes. I would mix with my latest Wal Mart pièces ( as Wal Mart is now carrying 100 pieces of Vicky Tiel including my book — ITS ALL ABOUT THE DRESS— Ah Ha! Moment of my life going from BERGDORF to WAL MART.

Blogging was easy. I had written two books. I had blogged for Huff Post and Lookonline but my own blog was a brand new thing.

Sculpting art was also something new for me. My former partner, Mia Fonssagrives Solow was a sculptor of majestic proportions, I was inspired to start small from nature around me — My Cairo NY mountain cabin is located near a fossilized Forrest found to be 385 Million Years old.

This fossil find inspired the birth of « THE ROCK FAMILY » This family emerged to check on how the pandemic has affected things in 2020 and beyond.

What I’m wearing. My jacket and my cap is from the MONTE CARLO GRAND PRIX. I did thé film Grand Prix in 1967 and never got over the Hotel de Paris in Monaco. My silk sain culotte pants are Vicky Tiel haute couture 1985. My T-shirt is Wal Mart that I embroidered with couture beads. The tote is from Harrods London airport. The lace stockings are from Paris, the shoes are purple suede from the 60s. The dog is my poodle TRIPPY and she flies all over with me.
