Susan Bloomberg’s Book Party

Susan Bloomberg’s Book Party for “Its  all about the Dress”, was to be held in  her rooftop penthouse. Sue was leaving shortly afterwards to move to a new building rooftop  at the end of the month. It was Wednesday night and rain was predicted, dark clouds lined the skyline of downtown Manhattan, as I started to pray on the roof! No rain, please, I begged to the King of all the Skies. It’s fashion week, ladies are in their finest, all my friends will be drenched and lo and behold,  prayers work!; the clouds moved out to sea and a pink color seeped  thru the mist and all was heavenly and so was the party.

The guests all looked stunning,  Bergdorfs, buyers and clients, store presidents and handsome Roberto Borghese, the bachelor from TV, all greeted by Sue’s four precious English bulldogs, led by Rocco the fierce male, a French kisser and toy lover. Delicious new wave Mexican food was from Zarel,chosen for me by Gael Green, and the pink watermelon Margueritas were loved by all. After the Party I went downstairs to an Italian bisto and sat next to Joe Montana, more heaven! What a night, my book is on it’s way!
