TO ALL THE FABULOUS GRANDMAS OUT THERE, PLEASE READ THIS.

After COVID I decided to stay put on the farm and leave PARIS  for a while. I also sold the family NEW YORK mountain cabin . From’the fall of 2021 my hard decision was to stay just on our Florida farm. I would feed the animals, cats,dogs, chickens, and the fish in the pond. They were all fed at 6 am and then I gardened, feeding the plants and vegetables until 9 am and then I WROTE and SKETCHED and ate fresh food (and ate dark Godiva chocolate). I planted a tomato salad garden around the in ground pool with cucumbers radishes,basil and berries popping out their heads. I would swim 30 laps a day in good weather so I can now see my food for fuel when I swim and I would throw pool parties for the grandkids as they pick the berries.

AH, WHAT A LIFE IN PARADISE AFTER SELLING DRESSES SINCE 1964 in 21 NEIMAN MARCUS and in the one and only BERGDORF GOODMAN in MANHATTAN and in my shop in PARIS and on HSN TV. I was ready for the lockdown. Really ready to stop being hyperactive since I was 12 when I sold my first dress in junior high school.

Yes , I was ready for a good rest on our 40 wilderness acres. Now the rest is over …Covid and lying around the farm is over and I am ready to GO.

After Sunday lunch with my two besties CAROLYN WILLIAMS and MARTHA TOWERY

(who live near me in the NW Florida countryside )we all decided to become the traveling grandmas..Ensemble we three ladies have 19 CHILDREN, GRANDCHILDREN and GREATGRANDCHILDREN.

We now call ourselves «  THE FABULOUS GRANDMAS ».The fabulous grandmas with a plan. Grandmas who will travel one day a week to towns in the Deep South and the Gulf of Mexico that have great restaurants to discover, non stop shopping , and local events at community centers, like music concerts, dance balls and also holiday river fireworks

Our first Grandma outing was to visit the new ULTA shops that are opening everywhere.

We especially loved the ULTA COSMETICS in the magnificent colors and multi color face CREAMS in a package.

Then a perfect fish lunch at AJs at Ft Walton Beach Fl eating Fresh Oysters and Oriental Wrapped Shrimp , sweet potato fries.

A stop in the Crestview Florida Thrift Shop and I found a great 1950´s necklace for 3.99$ not Bergdorf’s 3999$.

GIRLFRIENDS, LADIES WHO OVER THE YEARS WEAR MY PERFUMES, GOWNS, SLEEP ON MY BEDDING THAT I DID FOR HSN WITH  PRISCILLA PRESLEY, LADIES PLEASE DO THIS …TRUST GRANDMA VICKY, ITS WONDERFUL FUN FOR OUR LAST YEARS.
